San Jose Composite

Youth Mountain bike team

Calling San Jose students!

Get ready to ride, race, and forge unforgettable friendships

San Jose Composite is a youth mountain bike team made up of 6th to 12th grade students from various South Bay schools. We are part of the NorCal Cycling League which is part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). Our goal is to get more kids on bikes and learn lifelong skills, all while enjoying nature. The official season runs from December through May, which includes four race weekends where we compete against other Northern California teams. The season ends with High School League Championships against schools from both East Bay and Central conferences. Practices are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. All abilities are welcome!

Practice Schedule

Our seasons goes through June 1st. During the week, we rotate between Calero, Santa Teresa, Quicksilver Almaden, and Coyote Valley, and rides will start from the trailhead. On Saturday, we travel to Wilder, Saratoga Gap, John Nicholas, Fort Ord,  Skeggs and more.
